No portion of our funding goes to weapons. We are spending donations mainly for medical, humanitarian and protective goods.
Our finances are fully transparent. You can see what we are spending money on through our web portal. We are also working with WICO and are audited according to Germany and International standards.
We are very thankful for any support Ukraine and its citizens are receiving. We have started XXX to help donors in a constantly changing environment identify urgently required goods and provide the peace of mind that those arrive where needed. XXX works like a platform bringing together private and corporate donors with local partners to make sure Ukraine receives optimal help.
We are trying to focus on buying big amounts of goods to reduce prices and keep logistics efficient. All cash donations we are receiving are used to buy from our corporate partners and manufacturers at a discount. We are working with long established logistics companies that are providing the first mile to different drop off points on the Ukrainian border. From that point on we are partnering with Ukrainian logistics companies who work with the government to ensure safe delivery within the Ukraine. This includes all required export and import documents as well as all documentation to be classified as humanitarian transport.
The situation in the Ukraine is changing rapidly. This is a challenging environment for everyone. We are in direct contact with the central and local government as well as other institutions (hospitals, food banks, shelters, …) to receive their needs. We are updating that information on a constant basis and have built a software to match, manage and track those requests.
